Tasting Notes: The bouquet is very elegant with a range of subtle spices, orangey citrus fruits, and a hint of ripe banana. Remarkably complex flavors of citrus, dried fruits, and spice play on the palate. Finishes with lightly peaty and cedary perfume. The ice wine barrel-takes off all the normally fiery edges of a 10year-old-whisky. Just incredible, utterly unique, and jaw-dropping!

Many traditions and secrets came with these pioneers. The making of a spirited whisky was one of them. The crystal clear water from MacLellan’s Brook flows from the Mabou Highlands located above Glenora Distillery, giving Glen Breton its classic and pure taste. When the Scotch Whisky Association launches its lawsuit against Glenora in 2000, a media frenzy followed. Upon victory in 2009, it was decided to dedicate a bottling to celebrate this epic battle so-called the “Battle of the Glen”.

Product: The fight for Glen Breton’s trademark, a unique 15-year-old single malt was commissioned to commemorate the victory.

The tradition of Scottish fiddle music continues to be preserved by Fiddler’s choice, the Spirit of Cape Breton.
