Background: North America’s Only Single Malt Whisky Distillery
In the early 1800s, Scottish immigrants chose Cape Breton Island for their new home as its beauty so resembled the Highlands and Isles of Scotland. Many traditions and secrets came with these pioneers. The making of a spirited whisky was one of them. The crystal clear water from MacLellan’s Brook flows from the Mabou Highlands located above Glenora Distillery, giving Glen Breton its classic and pure taste.

Tasting Notes: Loads of sweet tropical fruit with refined elegant taste. Hint of chocolate with a touch of chill, and maple cherry on the palate. Smooth & malty with just a slight touch of sweetness. Long and smooth on the finish.
Food Suggestion: The Spirit of Nova Scotia. It cannot be called “Scotch” unless it is produced in Scotland, hence Canadian Single Malt Whisky. A light & flavorful dram.
